'Sibbe'
Valokki Sibbe (Sibbe) was born on 18th March 2017, His mother is Valokki Pipari (Pippa) and his father is Valokki Vihtori Veli (Mika). He is the only boy in a litter of 5. His 4 litter sisters are Sampo, Sata, Sini, and Suomi. The names of all 5 puppies in the litter were connected with Finland's centenary of independence which was celebrated in the year of their birth 2017. Sibbe's name is an affectionate nickname for Finland's leading composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957).
Sibbe lives and is owned by Mark and Tanya Cherry in Hertfordshire.
Sibbe took part in his first show (Finnish Spitz Society Open Show) on 28th October 2017 when he was just over 7 months old. He was 1st in the Puppy Dog class and Best Special Beginner.
Sibbe entered his second show and first championship show (Finnish Spitz Society) on 17th June 2018. Under judge Mr. Gavin Robertson (Soletrader) he was Best Junior, Best Special Beginner, and won his 1st Reserve CC.
Sibbe was 1st in his 3 classes (Post Graduate, Limit, and Open Dog) at Crufts on 8th March 2019 under breed specialist judge Mrs Alison Piearce. He then won his 2nd Reserve CC.
Sibbe had a KC-approved eye test at Crufts on 8th March 2020 which was clear. In the show, he was 1st in his 2 classes (PG, Limit) under breed specialist judge Mr. Stuart Byrne.
